Details

Ẹ Kọrin S’Oluwa is a collection of fifty Nigerian indigenous Christian hymns based on folk and traditional songs. Some of these songs are free translations of existing hymns in Yoruba, Igbo, and Hausa, the three major ethnic groups in Nigeria. Others are original compositions set to mirror the creative framework of local folk songs through the use of pentatonic, hexatonic, and heptatonic scale systems. Sadoh has written new texts for hymns based on folk and traditional songs.
