Brumm’s choice of themes and topics reflects needs he has encountered, requests he has received, and places where God’s grace has intersected his daily life as both pastor and teacher. These hymns come out of the ordinary patterns of everyday life, showing how, often, the extraordinary can grow out of the ordinary.
