    Leroy Robertson (1896–1971)

    A graduate of the New England Conservatory with diplomas in violin, piano, composition, and public school music from Brigham Young University (BA, MA), and the University of Southern California. Composition study was with George Chadwick and Ernest Bloch. Robertson became chair of the music department of the University of Utah.
