    Details

This toccata is a set of variations, based on a hymn tune of 1609 which is associated with a text that thanks God (Father Son, and Holy Spirit in Trinity on “heaven’s throne”) that mankind stands before Him when the sun rises and morning light dawns. It contains tango rhythms and flamenco-influenced modal language. Medium to difficult.
